Founded in 2021
The primary purpose of Futures Unlimited Community Integration Services is to ensure that individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the right to a college education, employment, self-sufficiency, and participation in the life of their community.
Future Unlimited Community Integration Service’s focus is on the participant’s “person-centered-plan”. The goal is to ensure that the individual’s objectives and goals are clear and that the steps in the process have the best chance of resulting in successful outcomes. The participant’s “person-centered-planning” process empowers the individual, promotes self-reflection, personal insight, creativity, and allows for a wide range of possibilities.
Having 18 plus years of experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and community-based program leadership. The focus on learning and growth is naturally ingrained into the services and operations of Futures Unlimited Community Integration Services.

Futures Unlimited Community Integration Services (FUCIS) practices person-centered-planning and thinking, We have a deep respect for our participants and their equality. We take time in getting to know each individuals strengths , talents and the things that make them unique.
Each individual person-centered-plan is a critical aspect of our program. It involves a process and approach for determining, planning and working toward what an individual wants for his or her future while being fully integrated into their community with non-disabled people.

FUCIS will continue to provide a trained Career Support Staff who will work side-by-side with program participants while enhancing their employability skills.
Career Advancement
Participants in the paid internship program have a variety of models, including self-employment enterprises and apprenticeships. This may also lead to other business opportunities.

FUCIS trained Skills Guidance Coach’s work side-by-side with the program participant, while enhancing their employability skill. This ongoing professional presence remains until both the employee and the employer are comfortable with the participants skills and abilities .
